Reminder: Submit Landscaping Plans and Exterior Changes for Approval

Trailside Residents,

We’d like to take a moment to remind all Trailside residents about the importance of submitting landscaping plans and exterior modifications for District review and approval before beginning any work.

Thoughtful landscaping and exterior improvements play an important role in maintaining the beauty, character, and overall appearance of our community. We appreciate the time and effort residents put into improving their homes and yards, and the approval process helps ensure that proposed improvements are consistent with the Trailside Design Guidelines.

A Few Important Reminders

Initial Landscaping: Initial landscaping plans must be submitted to and approved by the District before installation. All homes are required to have a buried sprinkler system installed in the front, side, and back yards, and all plant material must be irrigated. Initial landscaping must be installed within 180 days of closing.
Exterior & Landscaping Modifications: All modifications to your home or landscaping must be submitted for approval before installation. This includes items such as trampolines, pergolas, and other exterior improvements.
Privacy Screens: All privacy screens must be submitted for District approval and must comply with the District’s Design Guidelines.
Fence Staining: All fences must be stained in accordance with the District’s guidelines. The approved community fence stain is Tycoon Brown by Sherwin-Williams. If your home is located on Isabella, please contact the District to confirm the appropriate stain color for your property.
